Here's how it works:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. On the right of the address bar, select Translate .
  3. Or select at the top right, select More More and then “Google Translate”
  4. Select your preferred language.

Note: If Translate doesn’t work, refresh the page.

If you want to translate audio content, select Live Translate.

How do I download Google Live captions?

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, select More More and then Settings. 
  3. Select Accessibility from the list
  4. Turn Live Captions On or Off
  5. Turn Live Caption on or off. If you want to get Live Captions in a language other than English, Next to “Manage languages,” select Add languages. This will automatically download language packs.
