Skills and Credentials is a function that allows you to create and track a list of skills throughout your organization, and at any specific location of your organization if it has multiple sites.
If your staff have skills pending your approval, you will receive an email notification. From the Surge home page, click on “You have users with skills pending approval” to go to the Skills Pending Approval dashboard report.
Once you click on the link, you will be directed to Skills Pending Approval page, on this page, you can review the employees who have selected skills requiring approval. The filters at the top of the page allow you to view by department or skill.
You can click on the orange Pending Approval button to approve a user’s skill immediately; or you can click on the user’s name to open a new tab where you can review any comments or certificates, add comments, or change the renewal and alert dates if required.
